It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of artist and friend Étienne, an exceptional sculptor whose sensitivity and talent left their mark on the art world.

Étienne had that rare gift of transforming matter into emotion, of giving life to forms that seemed to be inhabited by a soul. His sculptures, veritable poems in volume, were much more than works of art: they carried a universal message, an invitation to reflect, to feel, to marvel.

For Galeries Bartoux, Étienne was not just an artist, but a part of our history. His presence, his talent and his works have left an indelible mark on our galleries, enriching our career and touching the hearts of so many collectors and art lovers. He was part of that artistic family that is the very essence of our mission: to sublimate art and give it universal resonance.

Beyond his immense talent, Étienne was also a profoundly human, humble and generous person. His view of the world and his unique way of translating it into art will continue to inspire generations. We will remember not only his works, but also the light he shed on those who were lucky enough to cross his path.

We pay tribute to a man whose artistic and spiritual legacy will remain forever engraved in our collective memory and in the soul of Galeries Bartoux.

May he rest forever in peace and light,
