“SCULPTER LE VIVANT” – MICHEL BASSOMPIERRE

As part of the exhibition ‘LES GÉANTS DES GLACES’ by Michel Bassompierre, we are delighted to invite you to the conference ‘SCULPTER LE VIVANT’ to be held on Friday 14 June at the Monaco Oceanographic Institute.

On this occasion, science and art lovers will be able to watch Michel Bassompierre create a live model of a polar bear. During this artistic performance, three experts will be speaking to raise awareness of the threats to polar biodiversity:

Dr Heïdi SEVESTRE, glaciologist ;
Rémy MARION, President of the Pôles Actions association, documentary film-maker and polar bear specialist;
Nicolas DUBREUIL, polar explorer.

A selection of works by the sculptor of gentleness will also be on display throughout the evening!
