For nearly 30 years, Galeries Bartoux has established itself as an international player in the art world, with 18 galleries in France, Monaco, London, New York and Miami. Driven by great ambitions, we plan to open a new gallery in Venice in the near future.

Galeries Bartoux is looking for Art Sales Advisers (M/F).
Reporting to the Gallery Managers, your duties, if you accept them, will be as follows:
– Greeting customers, providing correct and clear information with a high level of service
– Offering an exceptional and luxurious sales experience
– Provide excellent service by following up with each customer on delivery steps, administrative tasks and feedback on their gallery experience
– Meet sales targets set by management
– Be comfortable with the sale of high-value artworks
– Customer relationship management, building strong relationships with high-end customer profiles
– Commercial and administrative follow-up inherent to the Gallery’s activity
– Support the Gallery’s internal organisation – Handling light art may be requested
– Actively participate in event planning in collaboration with the Marketing department
– Support the daily maintenance of the Gallery

The profile sought:
Graduate of a business school or with a BTS (advanced vocational qualification) in business, you are trained and comfortable with sales techniques, with a minimum of 3 years’ sales experience in a luxury environment or in the art industry.

– A strong awareness of the art market and the luxury environment
– Excellent presentation skills
– You are a motivated, dynamic, rigorous, positive and responsible person
– You are versatile
– Excellent communication skills are essential (oral and written)
– A desire to work and invest yourself in a team and a company with strong development potential
– Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
– Knowledge of basic IT tools is strongly recommended
– Perfect command of English is mandatory
– Knowledge of another foreign language is highly appreciated.
