CHRISTIAN VOIGT
Biography
Christian Voigt, born in 1961 in Germany into a family of publishers and photographers, studied in Berlin and Vancouver. After a career in the film industry, he moved into publishing before devoting himself fully to photography.
Travel is the ultimate goal in Christian Voigt’s life. Encounters are his elixir, and the quest for beauty is the common thread running through his work, driven by a rigorous perfectionism. Through his images, he invites us to discover the world from a spectacular angle, capturing real stories in a single shot. The photographer imagines a unique hyper-realistic universe, somewhere between photography and photo-realistic painting. His works exude a surreal perfection, where scenery and light appear majestically immaculate. The artist breathes new freshness into familiar places.
