BRUNO CATALANO ON TÉLÉMATIN FRANCE 2
On the occasion of the exhibition « MATIÈRES » Bruno Catalano opened the doors of the Barthelemy Art foundry to Jérôme Cassou, culture columnist for Télématin.
During this privileged exchange, the artist introduced the journalist and his audience to his work in bronze.
The sculptor revealed the impressive casting of the material at 1100°C degrees until the final patina of his “Travelers” in the air of time.
“Sculpture is not only a physical journey, it is also an inner journey. When you travel, you leave things behind, things you want to hide. For me this is expressed through the void. In the void, you can put everything,” says Bruno Catalano.
