CAROLE FEUERMAN – “THE DIVER”

IMMERSE YOURSELF IN ART FOR THE 2024 OLYMPICS!

To mark the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Carole A. Feuerman is exhibiting
her monumental work “THE DIVER” in front of the iconic Eiffel Tower

Inspired by Greg Louganis, four-time Olympic medallist in 1984 and 1988, this sculpture is a real technical feat

Fascinated by the shape her body took as she dived, Carole Feuerman,
who had never before sculpted a man, immortalised this ultimate moment of grace

“I wanted the diver to be upside down but his body to take the shape of this curved wonder. Although I found many people willing to pose for me no one could do it in that position. So I photographed him, his muscles and the different parts of his body, and had to sculpt his anatomy based on the photograph” – relates the artist

Symbolising the Olympic spirit, this work embodies the values of honesty, perseverance, struggle and courage that are essential to athletes
We congratulate Carole A. Feuerman for her participation in the XXXIII Olympic Games
Through this monumental work, the artist reminds us that art and sport invite us to unite and rise to appreciate moments of pure beauty

“I am grateful for the opportunity to share my art on such a global stage. For those of you in Paris, I invite you to visit the Eiffel Tower and experience the beauty of ‘THE DIVER’ with your own eyes. Let’s inspire and celebrate together”
