Cécile Plaisance‘s famous lenticular photographs are odes to the freedom of women everywhere. Her portraits question the status of women, the tyranny of all religions and race relations.
Through her solo show “FUCK THE RULES!“, the artist invites you on a forbidden odyssey. Each image is a statement of peace about intolerance and sexism. By using provocation and humour, the artist asserts her struggle to achieve women’s freedom, their emancipation in the face of the patriarchy still too present in our contemporary society.
