GALERIES BARTOUX TURNS 30 !
GALERIES BARTOUX, 30 years ago …
The fulfilment of a dream and the start of an exciting family adventure initiated by Isabelle, Jean-Guy and Robert Bartoux.
The two brothers have been involved in the art world since childhood. Their father, Roger Bartoux, was a renowned publisher
who published prestigious works illustrated by such masters as Salvador Dalí, Tsugouharu Foujita, Jean Carzou, Pablo Picasso and Marc Chagall.
Following the success of this first gallery in Honfleur, the cradle of Impressionist art, the family opened new venues in Megève and Saint-Paul-de-Vence in 1994 and 1996. For the past 30 years, we have chosen to establish ourselves in the heart of locations whose history is intrinsically linked to the one of art
In just a few years, the group has become a leader in the contemporary art market in France and worldwide, representing a new generation of artists from around the world. Despite its international reputation, Galeries Bartoux strives to retain its authenticity and family dimension. The children of the founders, Alexandre, Charles, Laura and Chloé have in turn joined the adventure, participating in the evolution of the Galeries Bartoux group
For 30 years, we’ve made innovation an asset that sets us apart. Through our immersive, monumental exhibitions and virtual galleries, we aim to democratize art for the greatest number. In 2023, art lovers and novices alike had the privilege of discovering the immersive universe of sculptor Bruno Catalano in Paris. A few months later in New York, Carole A. Feuerman, a pioneer of hyperrealism.
