After being fired at 1,000 degrees, polished and then given a patina in the gentle sculptor’s workshop, the finished work was presented to the local schoolchildren, who were as amazed as they were delighted, last week.
The Mayor, Jean-Pierre Camilla, accompanied by his 1st Deputy, Laurence Hartmann, thanked the artist and Galeries Bartoux for this magnificent gift to the village.
