While Vincent Peters’ black-and-white images capture the authenticity of his encounters with celebrities, Philippe Shangti’s colourful and sultry images denounce the vices of contemporary society and raise awareness. Despite their opposing approaches, both emphasise that photography defines our relationship with the world and helps us to understand ourselves.
