Born and created in the same original manner as Adam, Lilith is his first wife. Unable to find harmony together, she leaves Eden for the shores of the Red Sea, where, surrounded by numerous demons, she gives in to lust.
Characterized by her imperious rebellion, she does not correspond to the feminine ideal. A femme fatale, free and seductive, she has been presented naked and provocative throughout the history of art.
For ART MIAMI 2023, Gabriel Moreno reinterprets the myth of the goddess turned demoness by presenting a contemporary “LILITH”, looking directly at the viewer.
Independent, sensual and deliciously rebellious, she embodies all the values of the femme fatale, defying the dictates of patriarchy.
