“WOMEN, LIFE, FREEDOM” – CÉCILE PLAISANCE SUPPORTS IRANIAN WOMEN
Cécile Plaisance‘s famous lenticular photographs (a process that produces images that change according to the viewer’s angle) are odes to the freedom of women everywhere.
Her portraits question the status of women, the tyranny of all religions and race relations.
The rallying cry of the protest in Iran and feminist solidarity in the rest of the world, “WOMAN, LIFE, FREEDOM“, echoes Cécile Plaisance’s artistic work.
In order to support Iranian women who struggle on a daily basis to have their rights heard, the photographer, in collaboration with Galeries Bartoux, wishes to donate part of the profits from the sale of the work “F*CK THE RULES” – unveiled on the occasion of her solo show at BARTOUX ART & DESIGN – to the Human Rights Centre in Iran.
