YUAN MENG, LA RÉALISATION D’UN RÊVE – MICHEL BASSOMPIERRE
In March 2024, Michel Bassompierre unveiled ‘YUAN MENG, THE REALISATION OF A DREAM’ at Beauval Zoo, a 2.5-metre-high work representing a pair of pandas.
A global symbol of the protection of endangered species, an emblematic umbrella species and an icon of Franco-Chinese friendship, this sculpture pays tribute to biodiversity. It also refers to the first panda to be born in France and repatriated to Chengdu in July 2023.
We are pleased to present a smaller version of this sculpture in our Paris gallery, underlining to our collectors the importance of preserving our planet.
